A fresh surge of Covid-19 has been witnessed in India with the active cases recorded as 2710 as of 30 May 2025. There have been 22 Covid cases recorded as dead since the beginning of the year 2025, in which seven died in the last 24 hours. But most of them were patients with existing health issues.

“Both our Central Health Department and the Ayush Ministry are fully alert and closely monitoring the citation across all states. We have spoken with the respective Health and Ayush Secretaries, as well as other concerned ministers” – said Union Minister of State of Health AYUSH Prataprao Jadhav.
