Does John Wick: Chapter 4 end with a post-credit scene?

The fourth installment of the action film series, John Wick: Chapter 4, is the longest one so far, but is there more in the post-credits scene?

We now know the solution. If you want to know what happens after the credits, continue reading below, but be forewarned: this story includes HUGE spoilers.

John (Keanu Reeves) challenges Marquis Vincent de Gramont (Bill Skarsgard) to a final duel in John Wick: Chapter 4. When John prevails in the duel, the High Table releases him. Nonetheless, Caine (Donnie Yen) shoots him, and he eventually passes away, according to Uproxx.

In the post-credits scene, Rina Sawayama’s character Akira wants to exact revenge on Caine for killing her father Koji (Hiroyuki Sanada) earlier in the film. Akira appears to be moving toward Caine with the intention of killing him as the film comes to a close. And that brings things to a close.

The idea behind this is that a future John Wick film might adapt Akira’s narrative, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet. It makes a lot more sense now that we know John dies when director Chad Stahelski stated in a recent interview that he and Reeves are finished with the John Wick series for the time being. After spending so much time on the John Wick trilogy, Stahelski is likely eager to attempt something new as well.

Stahelski is scheduled to helm the films based on Rainbow Six and Ghost of Tsushima, so he is already doing that. Although Stahelski has made light of the fact that these movies have been announced, they may or may not be true. He told The Hollywood Reporter, “Don’t they love a big announcement in Hollywood. A few have already been released, and I was surprised to see that I was assigned to helm them.

Stahelski stated that if John Wick: Chapter 4 performs as well at the box office as predicted, he will sit down with Reeves, indulge in alcohol, and plot the sequel.

“What do you think? Keanu and I will make the lengthy trek to Tokyo, sit in the Imperial Hotel Scotch Bar, and ask. We’ll sip on a few 20-year-old whiskies while brainstorming on napkins. If those concepts take hold, perhaps we’ll produce a film,” said Stahelski.

The Ana de Armas-played character Ballerina will be the subject of a spin-off in the John Wick series that will go beyond the main narrative. Reeves will appear in the film as John Wick in a cameo.
