HORI has unveiled a collection of officially licensed accessories for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 which will release on June 5, 2025. Some of the new products include game card cases and a special USB camera inspired by the evergreen Piranha Plant character in the Mario series.
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa spoke of the huge demand for the Nintendo Switch 2 with 2.2 million requests in Japan. Not everyone will get a console in the first lottery but losers will be rolled over to a second round. Production is being increased and reservations start April 24.
HORI will launch two kinds of portable game card cases for storing and carrying
Both cases are travel-friendly, compact and assist players in keeping their game collections organized neatly. Note that game cards are not included.
Another top accessory is a Piranha Plant-shaped USB camera, providing a playful and humorous alternative to standard gaming peripherals.
Pricing and full specs for the USB camera will be revealed nearer to launch.
Everything is officially licensed by Nintendo and will be in stores in Japan on June 5. HORI has a reputation for providing quality, fan-trusted accessories and this new lineup keeps the good work going with some great, fun designs for the next-gen Nintendo Switch experience.
