Indonesia’s Prabowo Pledges Cooperation with Japan and China

Prabowo Subianto, who is Indonesia’s new president-elect, is making friends with Japan and China. Recently he met Japan’s Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida. The purpose of this meeting was that they want to work together. In the meeting he said they should work together more on Security and Money stuff. This meeting comes just two days before his visit to China.  Just two days before that, he was in China. He said he wants to be Good friends with President Xi Jinping.

Prabowo Subianto told Japan that Indonesia doesn’t want to pick sides between big countries. He said he wants Indonesia to stay Neutral and Independent in world matters. 

This is the first trip  of Prabowo Subianto to abroad since he became President-elect in February. This meeting shows how important China and Japan are to Indonesia.

Indonesia is a big thing in Asia and it’s very popular. Indonesia is the fourth most populated Country in the world. Being friends with Japan and China can help Indonesia a lot in making decisions and growing its economy.
