Jakarta Events Guide: “Digital Detox in the Sky” and Comedy Showcase (Feb 2026)

The mid-February 2026 social calendar of Jakarta is filled with uncommon experiences, which can satisfy both mindfulness and comedy enthusiasts. With the city already filled with Valentines and Lunar New Year spirit, there are two outstanding events that can be proposed as ideal time to meet the locals and expats. To start, get away from the online racket with a roof top party that is meant to be a real talk. Then take a rollicking good afternoon of love and luck in the end of the weekend. Whether you are looking to unplug from technology or enjoy a side-splitting performance, these Jakarta events promise memorable moments in the heart of South Jakarta.

Digital Detox in the Sky: Unplug and Connect

On Friday, February 13, 2026, join the “Jakarta Friends” community for Digital Detox in the Sky. This event takes place at the Rocket Café Fatmawati (Gedung DKM Rooftop) where people have a strict no phones policy to enable real human interaction. Between 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, guests will be given free pool (billiards), quality food, and breathtaking view of the MRT and city skyline. It is a social-lovers place that one can make new friends without being distracted by electronic gadgets.

English Stand-Up Comedy Showcase: Valentine’s x CNY Special

Keep the momentum going on Sunday, February 15, 2026, with the English Stand-Up Comedy Showcase. This special two-fold festivity, organized by Mad For Laughs in Mad For Coffee in Cipete, will include the funniest comics in Jakarta, who will discuss the tradition of romance during the Valentines and the Chinese New Year. Doors open at 3:30 PM for a 4:00 PM start. The tarot reading session is also a highlight of the event and it is the element that gives the afternoon laughter a touch of mysticism.
