Japan Football Association Unveils their National Team Squad!!

One dream of millions is to win the most prestigious trophy of the World Cup 2026 and the teams across the world are gearing up to showcase their best team work during every match they play. Today, JFA (Japan Football Association) has officially announced their complete squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup Asian Final Qualifiers Group C. The Group C has 27 members, among which 20 teams have previously played eight or fewer international A matches and 14 of the teams were founded after 2001.

It is a historic moment in the JFA that seven young players have been selected in the National Squad for the first time and this adds further energy into the team.

“We want to encourage the development of our less experienced young players in order to create the strongest Japan team possible. The wall of our main players is thick, but I want them to take on the challenge with a hungry spirit” said the Head Coach of the team Japan, Moriyasu Hajime.
