NBA Playoffs 2025 Set to Begin: Full Schedule and Key Details Released

The NBA has released the complete 2025 Playoffs schedule officially, beginning with SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament from April 15 through April 18 and then the first round of the Playoffs from April 19.

SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament Details

The Play-In Tournament will decide the last No. 7 and No. 8 seeds within the Eastern and Western Conferences.

April 15 – Opening Games:

• Atlanta Hawks (8) vs. Orlando Magic (7) – 7:30 PM ET, TNT
• Memphis Grizzlies (8) vs. Golden State Warriors (7) – 10 PM ET, TNT

April 16 – Elimination Games:

• Miami Heat (10) vs. Chicago Bulls (9) – 7:30 PM ET, ESPN
• Dallas Mavericks (10) vs. Sacramento Kings (9) – 10 PM ET, ESPN

April 18 – Final Seed Deciders:

• East 9/10 winner vs. East 7/8 loser – Time TBD, TNT
• West 9/10 winner vs. West 7/8 loser – Time TBD, ESPN

2025 NBA Playoffs First Round Highlights

The first round kicks off April 19 with some major matchups already confirmed:

• New York Knicks (3) vs. Detroit Pistons (6) – Game 1 on April 19, 6 PM ET, ESPN
• Indiana Pacers (4) vs. Milwaukee Bucks (5) – April 19, 1 PM ET, ESPN
