Netflix Singapore Raises Prices for All Plans, Basic Now Starts at S$15.98

Singaporean Netflix subscribers are paying more each month as the streaming giant introduces its latest price hike. From April 2025, the price of all three plans has risen by S$2 to S$4, depending on the plan reported by CNA.

The new pricing plan is as follows:

  • Basic Plan (one screen): S$15.98 (previously S$13.98)
  • Standard Plan (two screens): S$22.98 (previously S$19.98)
  • Premium Plan (four screens with Ultra HD): S$29.98 (previously S$25.98)

This is the fourth price increase since Netflix’s entry into Singapore in January 2016. The last increases were in January 2020, October 2021 and February 2024. However, The Basic Plan was initially S$10.98, the Premium plan was S$16.98 and the Standard plan was S$13.98.

Netflix Singapore has not made a specific announcement about the April 2025 price hike on its website. Still, the company’s overall policy on price changes is made available in its Help Center. As Per Netflix, “As we add more movies and TV shows and new product features, our plans and prices might change. We may also change plans and prices to address local market conditions, like local tax changes or inflation.”

In spite of the hikes in prices, Netflix continues to be a favorite among Singaporeans with its extensive collection of content of popular shows such as “Squid Game,” “Bridgerton” and “Business Proposal.” The streaming service’s ongoing development of original content and upgrades on user interface will hopefully justify the increased subscription fees.

To get the latest and most accurate information regarding your Netflix subscription including any price increases in recent times, it is advised to look into your account settings or directly contact Netflix customer care.
