PDEA Continues to Confiscate and Destroy Illegal Drugs Worth Billions in the Country

As the lead Agency in the requirement of the counter medication law, the PDEA continues to stifle the stock of risky medications, execute Dangerous Drugs Board strategies, control and manage the real utilization of hazardous medication and controlled forerunners and fundamental synthetic substances, manage the counter medication exercises of the medication law implementation organizations and give direction for the support of all partners in the counter medication crusade.

In view of this, The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) obliterated P1.2 billion worth of unlawful medications recently. A sum of 912,685.73 grams of risky medications, including methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, toluene, cannabis, cocaine, happiness and terminated medication, were obliterated through warm decay at the Integrated Waste Management Inc. in Barangay Aguado in Trece Martires, Cavite.

Along with this, PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva commended different provincial preliminary courts for the speedy arraignment and attitude of medication cases that prompted the brief obliteration of unlawful medications which are not, at this point required as proof in court.

Morever, Philippine National Police boss Gen.
