Spider-Man 4
Finally, it is out! Tom Holland will return to the red and blue suit as Marvel formally launches the title and release date of the much-anticipated fourth part of the Spider-Man franchise.
Marvel just claimed the movie for an upcoming project: Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The wait for seeing the movie won’t be that long since it hits theaters on 31 July 2026.
One more step into hype for this upcoming film was the addition of the Stranger Things star Sadie Sink; however, the details about her character remain deeply hidden. Joining Holland and Zendaya, who is confirmed for a return to her MJ role, is Holland’s co-star. Still, there remains speculation on whether Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan) or Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds) will return. Marisa Tomei, however, definitely won’t return; Aunt May was tragically snuffed out in the last installment.

While the plot is guarded as closely as possible by Marvel, there are moments that most people can speculate from Spider-Man: No Way Home. At its climax, Peter Parker made the most unbelievable sacrifice: making the world forget he ever existed to save the multiverse. He builds an empty path, with his friends and loved ones forgotten, to one day meet MJ and Ned again. Could that new start have been the chapter in which he tries to find them again?
Of course, the previous film had an all-star cast including Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and many more. Fans have yet to get confirmation of surprise cameos for this film, but they live in the hope of a further multiversal reunion.
