BUKIT MERTAJAM – Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu said that the government is ready to send the Malaysian Armed Forces aircraft to China to rescue the Malaysians living in Wuhan, in the wake of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak.
According to Sabu, if Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail required their assistance to bring home the Malaysians, they are ready to send their aircraft. Malaysian Armed Forces has a couple of Hercules C130 carrier ready to use at their disposal.
