The Uncanny Counter season 2 release date, cast and more

The cast of “The Uncanny Counter”‘s second season has been announced. Season 2 was reported to be returning in October of last year, and it was also revealed that although Season 1 ran on OCN, Season 2 will show on tvN.

The Uncanny Counter, which was adored by audiences, will return for Season 2 on tvN on April 20. Jo Byeong Gyu (as So Moon), Yoo Joon Sang (as Ga Mo Tak), Kim Sejeong (as Do Ha Na), Yeom Hye Ran (as Choo Mae Ok), and Ahn Suk Hwan (as Choi Jang Mool) are all confirmed to return in the drama “The 5 Counters,” which will run as a Saturday-Sunday drama in the second half of 2023.

Release date

The first episode of the Uncanny Counter season 2 will air on July 28, 2023 at 8:30 PM.

The counters will return in “The Uncanny Counter” Season 2 stronger than ever thanks to the addition of a new member and the acquisition of new abilities. As more potent new demons are anticipated to arrive in front of the counters, anticipation is growing.

Cast

The webtoon-based movie “The Uncanny Counter” is about demon hunters called “counters” who pose as staff members of a noodle restaurant and hunt down demons who have come to Earth in search of eternal life. The 2020 drama made history when it was airing since it had the greatest ratings in OCN history.

Along with the five major actors, the series has also cast Jin Sun Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In Soo.

Joo Seok, a passionate fireman who feels like a rescuer to So Moon and who can’t turn a blind eye to injustice, will be portrayed by Jin Sun Kyu.

Kang Ki Young from “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” and Kim Hieora from “The Glory” will change into strong antagonists. Kim Hieora will portray the part of pure evil Gelly, while Kang Ki Young will take on the role of Pil Gwang, a demon with aspirations of being the most powerful predator.

Last but not least, Yoo In Soo of “All of Us Are Dead” and “Alchemy of Souls” will play Jeok Bong, the newly hired counter.
