The Physician Licensure Examination was given in March 2023, and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reported on Thursday that 1,573 out of 2,887 candidates passed.
Mariano Marcos State University student Aira Cassandra Suguitan Castro from Batac, Ilocos Norte, topped the exam with a score of 89.00 percent.
Johanna Wileen Go from the University of Santo Tomas came in second with 88.25 points, followed by Philip Patrick Petelo Lee from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with 88.58.
UST was the top performing school, with 51 out of its 61 takers passed the tests.
