In a recent interview, Donny Pangilinan discussed the current state of his relationship with Belle Mariano, his on-screen love team partner, and said that the two of them are “in a nice place” right now.

In an interview that took place yesterday, January 22nd, with presenter Karen Davila via her YouTube channel, Pangilinan responded to a question regarding their relationship with a response that was both oblique and profound.

“Belle and I are in a happy place right now. We’re very grateful for our situation and blessed to be an inspiration to many people, hopefully. More than that, we’re blessed to be having these projects together,” he said.

“Belle is herself. Sometimes she just separates herself, she goes what she thinks with, like, her life and doesn’t care about what other people say. I really admire that about her,” he said. “She doesn’t let anyone affect her. She’s very focused.”

Pangilinan then discussed how they respond to unfavorable remarks from critics, emphasizing his earlier defense of Mariano against people who judge her physical appearance.

“Well, we’re in showbiz, what can we expect? There’s gonna be voices from everywhere but I always tell her, we tell each other, those voices don’t matter,” he added. “Belle is so talented, she has so much ahead of her and I’m just so happy that I get to witness this journey with her.”

DonBelle, also known as Pangilinan and Mariano, appeared in the teen romance serial “He’s Into Her” and the film “Love Is Color Blind.” For their love team’s second anniversary, their fans recently surprised them by putting them on billboards in New York City, Dubai, Korea, and other places.

Belinda Angelito Mariano is a Filipina actress, singer, and model who was born on June 10, 2002. Her full name is Belinda Angelito Mariano. A number of other Asian performers, including Kang Daniel of South Korea, Wallace Chung of China, Yusei Yagi of Japan, Alice Ko of Taiwan, and Krit Amnuaydechkorn of Thailand, were also nominated for the prize. She was one of the winners.
