This June will be a big month for families exploring Singapore’s offerings with a brand new draw that’s worth including in their Singapore itinerary. The iconic Supertree Grove in Gardens by the Bay is the venue for the magic to begin when the “100 Acre Wood” transforms into the iconic “Super Tree Grove” for the official opening of the Gardens by the Bay Children’s Festival 2026, which will commemorate Winnie the Pooh’s 100th birthday, today, May 30.

From June 21 to 2026, the festival features themed play spaces, huge character sculptures, interactive activities, family fun and limited gala swag.

Winnie the Pooh Adventure at Supertree Grove

This year’s festival re-imagines popular Disney characters in expansive installations as well as activity areas based on Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore and friends.

The Supertree Grove offers a variety of colorful play spaces, interactive exhibits and photo opportunities throughout. The festival has been created with the family with the young child in mind, although Disney fans of all ages are welcome to the nostalgic event.

School vacations will start in many countries in Southeast Asia during the month of June, making it a busy period for visitors.

Free Admission Makes It a Budget-Friendly Family Event

The one great aspect of the festival is being able to access the festival area without paying any fee.

The Supertree Grove is open to the public as part of the Festival of the Supertree Grove and allows entrance to the public without tickets, thus offering a great opportunity to both Singaporeans and tourists to try to avail of the holidays without paying for admission to the festival.

Visitors should also be aware that some of the attractions may be limited or restricted during the day, depending on facilities and capacity, and they may require a limit on the number of people entering a queue.

Zipline Rules for The Hundred Acre Glide

This event is the star attraction of the festival – the “The Hundred Acre Glide“, Singapore’s first Winnie the Pooh themed zipline session.

The attraction includes a 16m glider, where kids can take to the air part of the festival grounds and enjoy unique glider views of the Supertrees.

It is likely to be one of the busiest places of the event and parents should arrive early! Registry queues for play-areas have also been announced to close after 6.30 PM daily while the festival continues until 9.00 PM.

Families should always ensure they have checked the age and height policy at the venue before waiting in line to ride the zipline due to possible restrictions for safety to the family.

Don’t Miss the Giant Character Parade

One of the other events that attracts masses of people is Pooh’s Grand Friendship Party where giant, 7 metre high inflatable characters traverse the grounds of the festival.

Those special appearances occur only on certain Saturdays and are instrumental, particularly for visitors, from the timing perspective.

The parade is held on opening day (30 May) at 3.30 PM. There will be additional Saturday shows at 3:30 PM & 5:30 PM on June 6, June 13 and June 20.

Families on week days or Sundays should be warned that these Giant Inflatable appearances will not be available.

Hunny Café Pop-Up and Exclusive Merchandise

The festival will also feature the themed Hunny Café pop-up, showcasing unique products featuring Winnie the Pooh and with a Singapore twist.

The select items imaginatively manifest familiar characters in local foods and drinks, creating specialized, memento-making ways to experience familiar characters in a distinct way.

The pop-up is open for business 2 times a week: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM and 4:00 PM–8:00 PM. Those looking for any of the limited edition items may need to come early since some of the items may get sold out.
