BLACKPINK Jennie BTS V Dating Rumors Spark Again

It seems that the K-pop world is in a run once again as Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, and the other member of BTS V are the latest dating rumors. New social media interactions and critically monitored shows have triggered age old gossip about a possible romantic relationship between the two international superstars.

Jennie returned to Instagram on June 9th with behind the scene material of her Seoul City music video after staying relatively silent on social media over the course of a few weeks. Prime time of this post has also made the fans raise eyebrows, as this was the time immediately before V discharges his time in the military on June 10th. It is this coincidental timing that has seen discussion among fan circles of whether this posting was timely or not.

The BLACKPINK member had mostly been inactive in online platforms after her Coachella appearance and the end of her Ruby solo-album promotions in April. Many have boasted that her timing of coming back to posts after such a long period of lapse is more than a coincidence.

Seoul City Lyrics Analysis Reveals Hidden Messages about Jennie and V Dating Rumoura

Specific lines in Seoul City track by Jennie are on the spotlight by fan, especially the line that reads Mr. General. Jennie says this in the middle of the music video and she is doing a cute salute based on the military. This is what the relationship theorists are now glued on. Dating rumors indicate that this might have been some sort of allusion to the recent service that V has done in the military where V was an officer.

The lyrical analysis has moved further than individual lines, where fans search out every single expression of the Seoul City song to see whether there are possible clues or references as to how it may relate to the military life or other traits of V.

Keen-eyed fans have found what they think is visual proof to confirm the dating rumours. In one of the photographs that Jennie uploaded on Instagram on June 9th, there is a big letter T in the picture. Interpretations by fan communities of the song suggest that this could be a reference to the V real name, Kim Taehyung, but there is no official confirmation to the theory.

V’s Japan Trip Return Adds Fuel to the Rumours

V landing in South Korea on July 1st after a personal visit in Japan has given even more content to relationship speculation. The last factor to analyze has been his fashion during the airport visit, and fans have reported the detail about accessories and clothing brands.

At this point, the BTS member was seen holding a scarf plastically similar with that sported before by Jennie upon her Coachella 2025 return. Moreover, V was wearing a pair of headphones of a brand which has already cooperated with Jennie, but these products belonged to a line introduced in 2023.

On the other hand, cynical audiences point to the existence of reasonably evident explanations of most of the referred to hints. They ask that fashion items or accessories are used repeatedly over long periods of time, that coincidences of timing are very common in the entertainment business and are not usually romantic in nature.
