On November 18, the world-famous Mistukoshi Mall in Japan welcomed customers from the Philippines for the first first time at its new location in Bonifacio Global City! Have you uttered kon’nichiwa yet?
The contemporary shopping center with a Japanese theme isn’t quite finished yet, but it already features a number of popular establishments, such as Mendokoro Ramenba, a branch of Fully Booked’s Kinokuniya Bookstore, Japan’s The Matcha Tokyo, and the soon-to-open location of the Ikinari Steak chain of Japanese steakhouses.
Even if it is still a little bit empty inside (and extremely cold), the crowd that was there on Tuesday afternoon was plenty to make it feel like a vibrant neighborhood mall. It is a pleasant place to take a stroll, particularly if you are searching for a place to have a merienda or a cup of coffee, or whether you are doing some light shopping or browsing for luxury goods.
However, many of the stores are still closed, and there is no definitive timetable for when the mall will be finished being constructed.
Itadaki Food Court will also be located on the Basement Floor. This food court will have eateries such as Chibo Okonomiyaki, Saboten Express, Nadai Fujisoba, Coco Ichibanya, Tenya EX, Bad Bird, KINUGAWA, RED FOREST STATION, and others. As of the 22nd of November, construction has not yet been completed on it.
The intersection of 8th Avenue and 36th Street in Grand Central Park, North BGC, Taguig City is where you’ll find Mitsukoshi Mall. It is open every day from 10 in the morning until 11 at night.
