1. BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan)

BTS is arguably one of the biggest boy bands in the world, known for their powerful music, captivating performances, and global fanbase known as the “ARMY.” The group consists of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Since its debut in 2013, BTS has achieved immense success both in South Korea and internationally, breaking numerous records and paving the way for K-pop’s global expansion.

2. EXO

EXO is a South Korean-Chinese boy group formed by SM Entertainment, known for their polished performances and strong vocal and dance abilities. The group originally debuted with 12 members, divided into two sub-units, EXO-K and EXO-M. While some members have since departed, EXO currently consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.

3. SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN is a 13-member boy group known for its self-produced music, intricate choreography, and strong bond with fans known as “Carats.” The group is divided into three units – Vocal Team, Hip-Hop Team, and Performance Team – each showcasing their unique talents. SEVENTEEN’s members include S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.

4. NCT (Neo Culture Technology)

NCT is a unique K-pop boy group concept developed by SM Entertainment, characterized by its rotational lineup and multiple sub-units catering to different markets and languages. The group’s members are constantly evolving, with new additions and rotations across various sub-units. NCT currently has 23 members spread across units such as NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV.

7. Golden Child

Golden Child is a boy group under Woollim Entertainment, known for their bright and youthful image, as well as their synchronized choreography. The group debuted in 2017 with 11 members and has since gained popularity for its catchy music and engaging performances. Golden Child’s members include Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, TAG, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, Bomin, and former member Sungyoon.

8. SF9

SF9, short for Sensational Feeling 9, is a boy group under FNC Entertainment known for its powerful performances and versatile music style. The group debuted in 2016 with nine members and has since established itself as a dynamic force in the K-pop industry. SF9’s members include Youngbin, Inseong, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Rowoon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani.
