GE2025: the Top 5 Political Parties Hold Rallies

GE2025: More rallies will take place on April 24 by five parties. Public transport is a must. Singapore: Current scenes of political controversy with the major parties on the move rallying on April 24 at various locations across the island during the evening. Since large crowds are expected, the Singapore Police urged the expected attendees to use public transport to avoid the traffic.

Rally venues of the various parties are:

  1. PPP contesting in Tampines GRC – Temasek Junior College
  2. PSP in Marymount SMC – Catholic High School
  3. PAP in Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC – Woodlands Stadium
  4. WP in Sengkang GRC – Field along Anchorvale Crescent next to The Vales condominium
  5. SDP in Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC – Choa Chu Kang Stadium

Traffic: Expect Gridlock:

Nothing will move due to the human tomography; roads leading to these venues could expect lane closures, diversions, and delays. The worst timing would be if your ride-hailing app comes late in picking you up or dropping you off.

Very Little Parking:

Within nearby carparks, season parking owners only shall be allowed to utilize them. The police warned that all illegally parked vehicles obstructing traffic on the roads will be towed away.

Stringent Security Measures:

A directive by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore prohibits the operation of drones, kites, and balloons over the rally venues for the hours of 6 PM to 11 PM, to ensure safe conduct of the rallies.
