If you are a fan or follower of Proteas and their players it is a sad and a disappointing day, because one of the prolific batters of South Africa who has been shining in all the three formats of cricket, Heinrich Klassen has declared his retirement from the international cricket career of his. His emotional notes on his social media page states that,
âIt is a sad day for me as I announce that I have decided to step away from international cricket. It took me a long time to decide whatâs best for me and my family for the future. It was truly a very difficult decision but also one that I have absolute peace with.â
Klassenâs decision shocked the contemporary players of Proteas and friends of his from other regions since this decision has been taken at the age of 33. Though he has clearly mentioned that he has decided to spend more time with his family and other plans of his, experts are expressing their disappointment and wishes to his future endeavours. Klassen has stepped down from his international career but he plays for the franchise crickets that is happening across the world, so the fans are happy that they could look up to his idol at least in those games.
