In Malaysia, a standard M6 Mac mini will cost RM3,799. Apple is also offering a more powerful Mac mini with the M5 Pro chip starting at RM7,499.
Pre-orders will kick off at 9:00 a.m. MYT on Thursday, 27 August and the devices will be available and delivered from 22 September 2026 as confirmed by Apple Malaysia.
They will have the ability to purchase via Apple Malaysia Mac mini store, the Apple Store app, and ultimately upon the general sale date, through Apple Store outlets and authorised resellers.
The base model with the RM3,799 price tag has 16GB unified memory and 256GB of SSD storage. There are also 512GB versions, and models with 24GB and 32GB of memory.

New 12-Core M6 Chip
The biggest upgrade is Apple’s new M6 chip, its first generation built using a 2-nanometre process.
The standard chip has a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU, while the previous M4 model only had 10-core. The M6 is said to offer up to 40% more CPU performance than the M4 Mac mini, twice the graphics performance and up to four times the AI performance.
Also included in the GPU is a new type of Neural Accelerator to help with demanding tasks, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine to help with Apple Intelligence and local AI-related tasks.
There is 16GB of memory, upgradable to 32GB, and memory bandwidth up to 170GB/s.
Wi-Fi 7 and Faster Ethernet
Connectivity also receives a meaningful upgrade.
The Mac mini M6 is equipped with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, 2.5Gb Ethernet (10Gb Ethernet optional).
Two USB-C ports, and a headphone jack are located on the front. Three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI and Ethernet are around the back on M6 models. Those looking for Thunderbolt 5 will have to upgrade to the M5 Pro.

The M6 Mac mini education price in Malaysia is RM3,399, which is RM400 less than the M6 Mac mini’s standard starting price of RM3,799.
The M5 Pro also gets the same RM400 discount which makes it RM7,099 for education buyers.
