BAN vs UAE T20 Series: Najmul Hossain etched record in the international T20 cricket!

The T20 series between Bangladesh and UAE began on 17 May 2025 at Sharjah. And the all round excellency of Bangladesh men’s team has garnered their first victory by 27 runs. During this match Najmul Hossain Shanto, the current skipper of men’s national team landed into the crease as a substitute fielder and made a major contribution for his team by catching three crucial catches. 

What is the record?

With this milestone performance in Sharjah, Shanto became the fifth cricket player in the international T20 tournament to create a massive impact on the field as a substitute.
