It’s Pride Month 2026, and it’s that time of the year already. Over the last twenty years, Pride Month has evolved into a time where Filipinos and allies all over the country can celebrate and raise awareness, advocate and build a connection with one another.

With a month of activities, performances and educational programs on the horizon, thousands of people are wondering where, what and how to participate in Metro Manila’s busiest month of the year.

With significant announcements about Pride events this year, more institutional support, and a shift to not just rainbow campaigns, but inclusivity and building community, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest Pride Months ever.

Metro Manila’s Biggest Pride Month Events in 2026

Kween Con 2026, held June 20 at the SM Skydome, is one of the most-anticipated events this June. Drag queens are especially eager to see actresses like internationally acclaimed Marina Summers, Eva Le Queen, Precious Paula Nicole and Minty Fresh join their own show.

The ticket sales were phenomenal, immediately following the launch of registrations and it’s one of the most talked about Pride events in the country. The other highlight is the Runrio Pride Run 2026 which will be held on June 21 at the SM Mall of Asia Complex. The event is a fitness, advocacy and community activity with events catered to age & skill levels.

Participants ought to have their choice of distances, some of which are also suitable for family/friend groups and pets. There are multiple distances available to participants; this is inclusive of both members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.

Why Pride Month Matters Beyond Celebrations?

In 2026, education, equality, and representation are other key elements of the focus for many organizations, alongside colorful festivals and performances that continue to play a pivotal role in Pride Month.

Community groups are taking June to push for conversations to take place around inclusive workplaces, anti-discrimination policies, access to safe spaces and promoting mental health awareness. The discussion has taken a from-the-heart tack, moving from talking about changes that will last beyond the month to improvements that will make a difference.

This theme demonstrates the critical urgency for those who advocate for Pride to carry forward the pride movement’s legacy of visibility, human rights, and social change.

Finding LGBTQIA+ Safe Spaces in Metro Manila

Pride Month isn’t just for events for many people, it’s about finding communities that support you.
