Robin Padilla Tops Magic 12 in Senate

Philippines – The Commission on Elections, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, on Wednesday announced the 12 new legislators whose six-year terms at the upper place of Congress will begin on June 30. Four re-electionists, five returnees and three amateurs will involve the empty seats in the Senate.

In view of this, Actor Robin Padilla, a vocal ally of President Rodrigo Duterte, bested the 2022 senatorial race, subsequent to collecting 26.6 million votes.

He topped the position in  the third  private surveyor Pulse Asia’s most recent overview directed April 16 to 21. Along with this, Padilla ran under the organization upheld party PDP-Laban.

Consequently, House Deputy Speaker Rep. Loren Legarda (Antique), a different term representative looking for a rebound, positioned second with 24.2 million votes. She ran under the Nationalist People’s Coalition.
