Singapore, Doha & Tokyo Named Best Airports in the World

Asia is still on a high with respect to global travel and, therefore, it was no surprise to see three of its airports on the World Airport Awards 2025, which took place recently in Madrid. At the very top? Singapore Changi Airport, once again crowned the finest in the world.

Hamad International Airport at Doha honors the second position, followed closely by Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) in third place. World-class service, innovation, and efficiency have kept them in high esteem among passengers for years.

Singapore Changi Airport: Still the Gold Standard

Changi Airport is no stranger to this limelight, claiming this top honor for the thirteenth time. It also won the awards for World’s Best Airport Dining, Cleanest Toilets, and Best Airport in Asia.

Changi Airport Group CEO Yam Kum Weng noted that this award will serve as a huge motivation for further improvements. “We are looking forward to welcoming more travelers to experience the magic of Changi,” he said.

Doha’s Hamad International: A Shopper’s Paradise

Holding the second position among airports, Hamad International has bagged the World’s Best Airport title thrice in the past. It also received accolades for providing passengers with the best airport shopping experience and for being the best airport in the Middle East.

Tokyo’s Haneda Airport: Clean, Efficient, and Inclusive

Ranked third, Tokyo’s Haneda Airport takes the lead in the world for passenger volume as it serves over 70 million travelers. Even the cleanest major airport, the best domestic airport, and most accessible to persons with reduced mobility (PRM), Haneda receives these titles.
