Star Cinema Unveils Official Trailer for “A Very Good Girl”

Following the anticipation generated by its teaser, Star Cinema has now unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming movie “A Very Good Girl,” featuring the dynamic duo of Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly de Leon.

The two-minute trailer, released on Wednesday, gives audiences a glimpse into the film’s storyline. Bernardo’s character, Philo, finds herself in a precarious situation that leads to her being saved by De Leon’s character, Molly. As their lives intertwine, a heartwarming mother-daughter bond forms between them.

Warmth to Darkness

The trailer showcases Philo’s transformation from someone saved to someone more confident, even copying some of Molly’s cunning traits, particularly in the workplace. Yet, the tone takes a dark turn when Philo’s newfound confidence takes a vengeful twist as she appears to plot revenge against Molly, declaring her intention not to spare her.

“A Very Good Girl” boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Jake Ejercito, Angel Aquino, Chie Filomeno, Donna Cariaga, Gillian Vicencio, Ana Abad Santos, Kaori Oinuma, Althea Ruedas, Nathania Guerrero, and Nour Hooshmand. The movie, directed by Petersen Vargas, is penned by Marionne Dominique Mancol with Carmi Raymundo as the creative manager and Daniel Saniana as the creative supervisor.

Fans can anticipate the exclusive theatrical release of “A Very Good Girl” on September 27. The film promises a compelling narrative filled with drama and intrigue, driven by the exceptional performances of its cast.
