Syed Saddiq: Undi18 will shake Malaysian politics

Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who is the MP of Muar, has praised the judgment of the High Court in Kuching, Sarawak, which ordered the government and the Election Commission (EC) to broaden the right to vote to individuals aged 18 and over by the end of the calendar year.

The High Court in Kuching, Sarawak, decided just recently that the government and the Election Commission must take measures to implement Undi18 by the end of this year to allow Malaysians aged 18 to vote in the next elections rather than having to wait until they are 21.
