The University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila, and Mindanao State University (MSU) made their inaugural appearances, adding a new chapter to the narrative of Philippine academic achievement.

This noteworthy accomplishment expands the roster of Philippine institutions on the QS list, standing alongside 12 other universities already recognized for their academic excellence. The University of the Philippines (UP) remains at the forefront, securing the 78th position—an ascent from its 87th placement in the 2023 rankings.

Completing the top four are Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) at 134, De La Salle University (DLSU) at 171, and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) at 179. This diverse representation emphasizes the multifaceted strengths characterizing the Philippine academic landscape.
