Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe expecting first child

Daniel Radcliffe, well known for his role as Harry Potter in the wildly successful Harry Potter film series, and his long-term partner are expecting their first child together.

According to reports, Radcliffe and Erin Darke have been dating for the past ten years and first met on the filming of the 2013 film Kill Your Darlings.

In the movie, Radcliffe assumed the role of poet Allen Ginsberg, and Darke took on the role of Ginsberg’s love interest Gwendolyn.

The announcement that the actor, who is 33 years old and expecting a kid, was made on his Instagram page, where he posted a mysterious note saying: “In the making.” The news of the actor’s pregnancy was made public.

Daniel Radcliffe first came to public attention as a young actor in the immensely successful Harry Potter series, in which he portrayed the title role of an orphaned main character.

Now, he has been working on new projects, one of which is playing the lead part in a biopic about Weird Al Yankovic.

The actor stated the following of his future offspring in an interview with Newsweek: “I want my kids – if and when they exist – I would love them to be around film sets.”

Darke, who was born in Michigan, is perhaps most known for her role in the television series Good Girl Revolt, which she played in 2015. She has also had appearances in other television shows, such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

The revelation comes as Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley in the films, has a daughter with actor Georgia Groome who is three years old. Georgia Groome also works in the acting industry.
