Joint Adaptation of Award Winning Drama ‘Hot Stove League’s Production Work Kicks Off

The production work for the Japanese adaptation of the Korean dram ‘Hot Stove League’ has officially begun and based on the given information it is a joint collaboration between SBS’s Studio S and NTT Docomo Studio & Live. The announcement regarding this drama was previously unveiled in 2024 during the BCW (Broadcast Worldwide) event held in Seoul with original cast members Ha Do-kwon and Cha Yeop in attendance.

This drama is known for its gripping portrayal of the baseball team management and leadership which earned its words of good mouth both critically and commercially in South Korea. It has also won the most prestigious award under the category of ‘Best Drama at the Baeksang Arts Awards’. 

Japan has its strong baseball fanbase across the country and this adaptation will definitely impress the fans of this game. As of now, the lead role which has been played by Namgoong Min will be portrayed by seasoned Japanese actor Kamenashi Kazuya. Further complete details of the crew will soon be out.
