How Grammy Voting Membership Works

Voting for the Grammy is not simple. This is a great distinction, particularly for these K-pop superstars to be invited as new members of the Recording Academy, which only invites new members.

Several steps are there to become a Grammy voting member:

  • Artists have to be recommended by members of the Academy who are already in the Academy
  • They must provide a detailed application indicating their contributions to the music industry
  • All the applications are reviewed by a peer panel
  • Voting members have to be music creators, such as musicians, songwriters, and producers.
