Investigating the Cause of Mark Sheehan’s Untimely Death

Irish rock band The Script’s main guitarist Mark Sheehan passed away on Friday after a “brief illness,” the group announced on social media. He was 46.

Mark Sheehan, a devoted husband, father, brother, bandmate, and friend, died today at a hospital after a brief illness. In a statement posted beside a picture of Sheehan on the band’s official Instagram page, the family and group pleaded for fans to maintain their privacy during this difficult time.

In 2001, Sheehan, lead singer and keyboardist Danny O’Donoghue, and drummer Glen Power founded The Script in Dublin. The song “Hall of Fame” from 2012, the song “Before the Worst” from 2009, and the smash songs “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven” from 2008 are all known for the band.

Mark Sheehan’s cause of death

Mark Sheehan, the guitarist and co-founder of the Irish rock group The Script, has passed away. The band revealed that the 46-year-old passed away on Friday in a hospital after a brief illness. Along with drummer Glen Power and vocalist Danny O’Donoghue, Sheehan founded the band in 2001.

For family obligations, Sheehan postponed the group’s Greatest Hits Tour in 2022, according to bandmate Danny O’Donoghue, who told Sunday World in May.

Lead vocalist and keyboardist O’Donoghue told the site, “It’s his story to tell, but certainly, if I might paraphrase, his children needed a father and his wife needed a husband. He went on vacation for a short while. You take a break, then you return with renewed vigor. And I really feel that it was the finest outcome for all of us.”

On the band’s website, other musicians quickly expressed their sympathies and shared memories of Sheehan.
