Malaysia: Captain Guaycochea lifts Perak again with his performance

Luciano Guaycochea, a popular Argentine professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Malaysia Super League club, Perak Football Club, has helped to lift Perak’s performance with his leadership qualities.

Perak beat Penang FC 3-1 in the Malaysia Super League match at the Stadium Perak on Wednesday. Luciano Guaycochea, who is also the captain of the club, showed good performance. Captain and midfielder Luciano Guaycochea scored the opening goal in the fifth minute.

Wan Zack Wan Haikal, a famous and professional Malaysian footballer who plays as a striker and midfielder for Perak FC in the Super League, also scored a goal for his team. Perak’s Seo Seu-nung also scored a goal in the 75th minute.

Luciano Guaycochea, who joined Perak midway in 2022, said, “If a coach has an idea on how he wants the team to play and the players get it, it’s good. The results are coming and the credit has to go to Yusri Che Lah for his progressive way of playing the game.”

Yusri Che Lah, the interim head coach of Malaysia Super League club Perak, reportedly gave a lot of confidence to the team. The training session of the team was also intense.

Recently, Perak FC also beat Kedah. The captain of Perak said, “Imagine beating Kedah, a top-four side and then Penang, who are ranked higher than us in the league.”

Last week, Perak beat Kedah FC 3-1 in the Malaysia Cup round-of-16 first leg at the Stadium Perak. Guaycochea also praised Muhammad Firdaus bin Saiyadi, a famous Malaysian footballer who plays as a winger for Malaysia Super League club Kuala Lumpur City on loan from Perak. Reportedly, he had also played for Perak in 2020.

The captain of Perak FC also appreciated winger Zack. He said, “Zack scored an amazing goal. Despite his injury problems.” The captain also called him a top player.
