According to Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, if Covid-19 local transmission positive cases escalate, the government has no choice but to implement to stricter MCO to curb the spread of the disease.
If there is a sudden increase of cases in the next two weeks, The Health Director-General said that they will do contact tracing.
The recent rise of transmission were attributed to the people not following the standard operating procedure set by the government. He said that during MCO, the number of cases might be high but the compliance of the public were also high.
