ALV Pageant Circle stated on February 1 that, after great thought, they have chosen not to extend their Miss Supranational franchise.
They stated, “We would like to congratulate the Miss Supranational organization for the previous two years of mutual cooperation and wish them the best of luck in all their future undertakings.”
The announcement came months after the December 2022 announcement that Miss Supranational will become an independent competition in 2023.
ALV Pageant Circle stated at the time that the inaugural Miss Supranational Philippines pageant will take place in March 2023.
Additionally, the application period for Miss Supranational Philippines was from December 17, 2022 to January 31, 2023.
It is yet uncertain where the Miss Supranational franchise will relocate. Miss Supranational stated in November 2022 that the age restriction has been raised to 32 years old, up from 28.
After eight years with Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc., the Miss Supranational Philippines franchise will be transferred to the Miss World Philippines organization in 2020. (BPCI).
Alison Black presently holds the title of Miss Supranational Philippines. She placed in the Top 24 at the international competition. Mutya Daul earned the title of Miss Supranational for the Philippines in 2013.
The ALV Pageant Circle is in charge of the Miss World Philippines pageant, and they also choose the candidates for Miss Eco, Miss Eco Teen, and Reina Hispanoamericana. After BPCI severed its relations with the contest, they also obtained the local franchise for Miss Grand International.
Miss Grand Philippines will be held in June, while Miss World Philippines will be held in October.
