Nonthaburi shutdown to be normal soon

Last updated on May 11th, 2021 at 08:38 am

Nonthaburi Governor Sujin Chaichumsak announced on Monday (April 13) that the province would ease its shutdown order for some establishments that are necessary for daily life.

From April 15, barber shops, beauty salons (for hair cutting only), courier services, lottery stalls, office equipment stores, construction material shops, furniture shops, mobile phone service shops and stores dealing with computers, electrical appliances and kitchenware can open. However, they must provide a screening area and hand-sanitiser gels for customers, a space that allows for at least one metre distance between each person and facilities for senior citizens, while customers must always wear face masks or face shields when in these shops.

Barbers have been specially instructed to wear face masks or face shields and gloves while working and must not use any razor blades. Customers are not allowed to wait in these shops and are advised to make an appointment in advance. Business operators who fail to comply with these rules will be ordered to remain shut.
