Pasig records 2 cases of COVID-19

Mayor Vico Sotto announced on Monday that there are two residents of Pasig City suffering from coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID-19).

Sotto said that one of them is confined to Medical City Pasig while the other is confined to a private hospital outside the city.

Sotto said that the city is adopting the precautionary measures set out by the DOH and the World Health Organization (WHO). These include: Touch tracing (most important) Dedicated response teams following proper protocol; Disinfection of public spaces; Cancellation of all public events and meetings; Applications for permits for major private activities on-site Earlier, Cities of Marikina and Quezon confirmed cases of COVID-19.

According to the DOH, the country has a total of 10 COVID-19 cases as of Monday morning.
