Singapore has lost its title as the world’s most Instagrammable location

This year, Singapore did not place in the top spot or even make it into the top 10 of the most Instagrammable destinations in the world.

According to travel publisher Big 7 Travel, which published the rankings on Sunday, the city-state dropped from first place to the 13th slot out of a total of 50 countries after topping the list the previous year.

The race was won by Milan, which was followed by London and then Paris. Istanbul, New York, Nepal, Chicago, Bali, Sri Lanka, and Sydney are some of the other cities that made the list of the top ten cities in the world.

The order of the cities was established by tallying up the total amount of TikTok views and Instagram hashtags associated with each location.

When compared to Milan’s over 22 million Instagram hashtags and 97 billion TikTok views, Singapore secured more than 41 million hashtags on Instagram and 11 billion views on TikTok.

Other places in Southeast Asia to make the list are Phuket (27th), Kuala Lumpur (29th), and Ha Long Bay in Vietnam (48th).
