Song Joong-ki is married to Katy Louise Saunders, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
According to a Soompi article, the actor made the news on January 30 through his online fan café.
“I have pledged to spend the rest of my life with Katy Louise Saunders, who has been at my side supporting me and with whom I have spent quality time while cherishing each other,” he wrote.
In December 2022, Song’s agency initially announced that the actor is “currently dating a woman with pleasant sentiments.” Additional facts concerning the connection have not been published at this time.
Song referred to Saunders as a “intelligent and remarkable individual” who assisted him in becoming a “better person.”
The actor went on to say that they had “dreamed of having a joyful family together” and that “a new life has arrived” for them.
“Today, based on our profound trust and love for one other, we are returning from registering our marriage to begin married life,” he said.
Song thanked his fans for their well-wishes and continuing support, and he pledged to strive to become a better actor and person.
A Werewolf Boy, Arthdal Chronicles, Vincenzo, and Reborn Rich are the films for which Song, 37, is most known. He was formerly married to Song Hye-kyo, his Descendants of the Sun co-star. In 2019, they filed for divorce after nearly two years of marriage.
