The Philippine Social Security System (SSS) has announced financial assistance for those who belong to it and fit within the criteria regarding low income, which will be disbursed from October 30, 2026.
The SSS UPLIFT Aid programme provides beneficiaries up to ₱8,000 in a single quantum of ₱2,000 per installment.
But there are more factors than just income. To receive assistance, members must meet contribution, household database and disbursement account requirements.
SSS UPLIFT Aid Eligibility Requirements Explained
The new expansion is for members who have monthly salary credits of ₱10,000 and below. Applicants should have made contributions during 2025 or 2026, should be present in the PSA’s 2024 Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) database and should be eligible to be enrolled in the DAEM based on the prescribed eligibility requirements.
How to Check UPLIFT Eligibility Through My.SSS
Members are encouraged to go to the SSS website and log-in to My.Refer to the official eligibility notification of SSS. The programme is based on a list of beneficiaries that have been pre-selected and does not require a separate application to receive payment as long as the income threshold is fulfilled.
How to Verify DAEM Disbursement Account Status
Inside My.SSS, members can access their Disbursement Account Enrollment Module records and determine if their payment account is approved. It’s important to keep banking details up to date and safe from attempting unsuccessful transfers, which should be done via official channels.
October 30 and November 6 Payment Schedules
Newly added members in the extended group will be able to claim up to ₱8,000 starting October 30. Those who are qualified beneficiaries in the lower bracket of ₱20,000 monthly salary are due for the rest of their ₱4,000 on Nov. 6.
