Chiba Prefectural Governor Election declared the candidacy

On Friday, during the press conference the leader of the political group ‘Party to Protect the People from NHK’, Takashi Tachibana disclosed their candidacy for the upcoming Chiba Prefectural Governor election which is scheduled on March 16 of this year.

“I will make my first statement after Governor Kumagai’s first statement. I Praise him. I completely agree. He is a wonderful person who is trying to restrict expression. I will run a two-horsepower election” said Tachibana.

In addition to that, former member of Funabashi City Council, Masanori Kadota has also announced their candidacy for the upcoming elections.

“I believe that an election is an opportunity for candidates to present their vision and promises and for voters to choose them to realize those promises, and not an opportunity to support or defend other candidates. I hope that each candidate will present their vision and policies, and that this will be a meaningful election that provides an opportunity for voters to learn about and think about Chiba” said Kumagai on X.
