Coronavirus: Two Malaysians brought back from China tested positive

PUTRAJAYA – Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad confirmed that two Malaysians were infected with the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) after being brought home – leaving a total number of Malaysian infected to 3.

The two – A father and son – tested positive and have been warded at the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban. Both in stable condition.

Both the father and son showed no symptoms but were positive when tested for the virus. As of Feb 5, there are a total of 12 2019-nCoV cases in the country. Three are Malaysian and Nine are Chinese citizens.
