The DOLE Holiday Pay Calculator is used to calculate the possible earnings of Filipino workers for November 2026 based on new DOLE guidelines. Special non-working days (Undas and ASEAN Summit days) are not governed by the same rules as a regular holiday (Bonifacio Day). By knowing these differences, employees will be able to check the pay of their employees and employers can adhere to the Philippine labor laws.

DOLE November 2026 Holiday Pay Rules Explained

November 1 (All Saints’ Day) and November 2 (All Souls’ Day) are two special non-working days according to Labor Advisory No. 18, November 1. For employees who work eight hours, the compensation is 130% of basic pay (150% if working on a rest day). These rules are confirmed by the official DOLE advisory.

ASEAN Summit Holiday Pay for Metro Manila Workers

During the 49th ASEAN Summit, November 16-18, the following days are special non-working days, dedicated only to the National Capital Region. For an 8 hour shift, the pay is 130% of the daily wage and 150% on rest days. DOLE’s Labor Advisory No. 16 also provides for overtime premiums and exceptions.

Bonifacio Day Double Pay Calculation for Employees

Bonifacio Day 2026 is a normal holiday on November 30th. If an employee is not qualified and not working, he or she will receive 100% of the day’s pay, and if he or she is working 8 hours, he or she will receive 200% of the day’s pay. In the case of a work day on a rest day, compensation increases to 260%. These calculations are explained in the DOLE statutory benefits handbook.

How to Calculate November Holiday Wages

The special holiday work is ₱1,040 for an employee who works ₱800 per day, and the regular holiday work is working 8 hours for ₱1,600. The daily wages of the workers are ₱2,080 when the day they work is a regular holiday and the day they rest is a work day. In the Philippines, overtime pay is paid at a percentage increase, and most special holidays are no-work no-pay.
