Elvis Presley’s address book, briefcase, and other things are being auctioned off

Elvis Presley’s personal belongings are likely to fetch a high price when they are auctioned off this week.

Nearly 40 items from Elvis Presley, including a jacket made by the guy responsible for his iconic costume and cape, a well-loved briefcase, and an address book with his handwriting, are likely to fetch over $10,000.

Brigitte Kruse, the founder and chief auctioneer of Kruse GWS auctions, remarked that the address book had “the individuals with whom he was truly closest and had the most connections. We will leave a few of his personal notes in the book as a surprise for the successful bidder.”

Following the publication of the Oscar-nominated film Elvis and the tragic death of his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, there is heightened interest in the American singer who passed away in 1977.

In addition to Marilyn Monroe and Liza Minnelli’s possessions, the January 28 “Artifacts of Hollywood & Music” auction will include Rock Hudson’s dog’s Christmas stocking.
