Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said that he has no knowledge that Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the top political party leaders will be holding a meeting this week. It has been said that the a meeting will be held between Al-Sultan Abdullah and the top political leaders as he hopes to personally hear the leader’s opinions on the worsening Covid-19 situation even with the declaration of Emergency in January.
Some of the parties have given confirmation that a meeting will be held and that it will be in batches starting from Wednesday to Friday of this week. However, no formal invitation has been issued to them yet.
A broadsheet newspaper based in Singapore also reported that the nine royal household heads of Malaysia will be holding an alleged emergency meeting next week to talk about the current Covid-19 situation as well as the nation’s state of Emergency.
