This idea intrigues Rohan who chooses to have his own confessional experience. He inadvertently walks into the priest’s side of the booth though. Shortly after, a man walks into the confessional and starts telling about a terrible thing that happened twenty five years ago. Inspired by his interest and his conviction that “experience breathes reality into art,” Rohan pretends to be the priest and pays close attention to the man’s confession.

Issei Takahashi played Rohan in the live action drama series which aired on NHK in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024. The 1st movie which was released in May 2023 “Rohan at the Louvre” (Rohan au Louvre) brought in 1.25 billion yen (7.91 million USD) in Japan.
