Joe Goldberg will return, but this time permanently.

Netflix announced on March 24 that the popular psycho-thriller series You would return for a fifth and final season, with Penn Badgley reprising his role as the infamous stalker and serial murderer who will have a “delightfully twisted finish.”

“Will Joe Goldberg finally face his day of reckoning?” The Netflix teaser stated, according to a report from Variety. Original showrunner Sera Gamble will leave the series after season five. Sera, who created the first four seasons of the program, will continue to serve as executive producer. Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo will be replacing Gamble as executive producers.
