Tokyo Waterfront New Transit Line has been suspended due to power outage

On January 29,2025 due to the power outage the Tokyo Waterfront New Transit Line which is also known as New Transit Yurikamome was suspended. This incident took place around 3.20pm, according to Yurikamome Co.Ltd., the revert back of the service is remaining unclear and the investigation is going to unveil the main cause. Till the problem is completely resolved people are informed to check out the latest services and updates.

Similarly, the interruption took place on January 25,2025 at 11.35 am between Shibaura-futo Station and Odaiba Kaihin Koen Station. This power failure resulted in the strand of the train on an elevated track and around 200 passengers were evacuated due to emergency. The evacuation has been reported to be orderly, with no injuries and health issues of the passengers. Meanwhile, at 12.10 pm the service had been partially recovered between Ariake and Toyosu stations and the other sections of the line remained suspended with no immediate timeline. 

Yurikamome Line is an automated guideway transit service which connects Shimbashi to Toyosu via the artificial island of Odaiba in Tokyo.
