If you’ve also been noticing a paucity of Shakey’s legendary mojos, you are not alone.

Apparently, there has been a mojos scarcity in most locations countrywide for the past several months, and Shakey’s Philippines stated on Facebook that they’ve been “working extremely hard to acquire [us] mo’ mojos.”

Shakey’s stated that they have been and would continue to provide mojo-flavored fries as a replacement for the pizza chain’s favorite potato snack owing to “global supply restrictions.” It’s your normal French fries, covered with a similar combination of spices and flavors and fried to a crisp.

Shakey’s stated, “It’s not the same as the one-of-a-kind mojos, but we believe you’ll still like them,” and thanked everyone for their understanding.

The mojo-flavored fries are available by the bucket with dipping sauces or as a side to Shakey’s combo meals, fried chicken, or pizza for dine-in, take-out, or delivery.

Shakey’s mojos scarcity in 2022 is similar to that of other fast food companies, like as McDonald’s Philippines, which ceased providing medium, large, and BFF fries in April owing to a restricted fry supply caused by the “global freight crisis.” In October, larger portions of fries returned to the menu.
