Zii Jia advances to the quarterfinals of the Indonesian Open

Malaysia – During the 2022 Indonesian Open, the winner of the men’s singles event at the national level, Lee Zii Jia, exhibited an energizing performance to earn a victory against Sameer Verma of India and proceed to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

At the Istora Senayan Stadium in this city, the fifth and sixth seeds in the world defeated Sameer’s challenge in only 41 minutes, winning the match with scores of 21-10 and 21-13.

When we caught up with Zii Jia after the match, he revealed that he is feeling more confident than ever before heading into the next challenge of the competition.

“I feel as if I’m growing used to the large number of people who are here. It’s a really healthy habit for me to keep up with. As we go on to the next round, let’s hope that everything goes well.

“My objective is to win the Indonesian Open and claim the title of champion.” The BWF Super 1000 is a significant competition that is currently taking place. He remarked, “Hopefully, I’ll be able to give this one hundred percent of my focus.”
